Symposium and Workshop, July 2 and 3

On Friday 2nd July, a Symposium is being planned with guest speaker Rev Dr Chris Budden, author of Following Jesus in Invaded Space: Doing Theology on Aboriginal Land and Why Indigenous Sovereignty Should Matter to Christians. The panel will comprise of Rev Dr Auntie Denise Champion, Rev Dr Vicky Balabanski, and Tarlee Leondaris (Covenanting Officer, SA Synod). The focus will be on the Statement from the Heart and Sovereignty.
Time/date: 7.30-9.30pm, 2nd July 2021

On the following day, Saturday 3rd July, a workshop (morning/afternoon) is planned which will include the speaker and panel from the Friday night, as well as Eddie Synot of the Indigenous Law Centre at University of NSW. At lunchtime, the Dusty Feet Mob will present a performance.
